Went on to manage Torquay Utd (my home town club) and nearly took them into old 2nd division and I think in the same season into the semi finals of the league cup. Went on to manage Man Utd after Sir Matt, maybe not immediately but 2nd after they appointed internally - May have that bit slightly wrong.
